General Fund
These funds support the regular operation of the center including our missionary Jessalyn's expenses, rental on our current building, teacher salaries, meals for the children, and more. It costs about $10 per week per child for Steps of Hope to operate. Our annual goal is to raise $100,000.
Building Fund
These are "capital funds" to support the planning, design, site preparation, and construction of our new Steps of Hope Learning & Community Center. The goal for this full project and an endowment for ongoing maintenance is anticipated to be $1,000,000.
Sponsor a Child
Beyond our regular operating funds, these funds pay for books, uniforms, school supplies, and other expenses required for program participants to attend the local public school. $75 helps an elementary school child for the year, $125 for a middle or high schooler. Annually, $10,000 makes attendance possible for any current Steps of Hope attendee who wishes to go to school.
Mission Trips
Many of our partner churches and supporters make donations of funds to be used by mission teams and volunteers when they are onsite. Projects have included building bunk beds for local homes, home improvement projects, or general center infrastructure enhancements.

ABOUT YOUR DONATION
Please consult with your personal tax advisor regarding the tax deductibility of your donation. This organization is a 501c(3) tax exempt organization, IRS Section 170(b)(2)(iii) for both federal and state tax purposes.
