For easy, recurring giving. Note "Child Sponsorships" in the designation field, and if known, the child(ren) you are honoring.
Once children and families show their commitment by attending the learning center program for one year, they are then eligible to participate in the “Sponsorship Program.”
This program provides funds for school uniforms and supplies as well as fees for required activities and resources. Without these items, children cannot attend the public schools. The program continues support by providing afterschool tutoring for these children for school success. This effort continues to be one of our most popular for donor support and "sells out" each year.
As US donation regulations prohibit earmarking funds for specific children, the sponsoring donor is technically making a donation to the overall program in "honor" of each child.
As the number of students is limited, sponsors are contacted each year to re-commit to their symbolic support.

If you are renewing your support, please click the link above to one of our official giving portals, or mail your check payable to "Steps of Hope-Guatemala, Inc." with "sponsorships" on the memo line.
Elementary School Sponsorships ($75 per child) provide uniforms and school supplies.
Middle & High School Sponsorships: ($125 per child) provide uniforms, school supplies, required class fees, and internet access at the Center.
